I learned the importance of assessments and evaluations 

I learned that it is important for the instructor to understand the types of learning tools before they start assigning assignments in them. If an instructor doesn't understand how the software works then its most likely that they students would not understand how to use it. 

That miscommunication can occur very easily. As an instructor you need to make sure that your students understand the material. 

Communication between instructor and student is very important- especially in online teaching 

technology tools are important when it comes to online teaching.

Having multiple evaluations is important and rewarding 

providing feedback to your students helps improve their skills and helps with motivation. 

I learned that it is important to have a detailed syllabus because students use that as a road map. 

That it is important to keep each module the same length, make sure it stays consistent and make sure the appearance of each module is the same. 

That is important that you communicate with your students in a timely manner
