I love how stand-alone classrooms can now be so engaging with all the technological pieces that can be incorporated into what it being taught. So many diverse ways to get the same information across for all of our different types of learners.

Some of these apps I have used are great in the classroom. Good interaction and learning taking place with these wonderful apps. Some new ones were presented that I'd like to experiment with and hopefully use them in my teaching.

I love learning about the PBL. I find that there are so many possibilities with this type of learning for our students. Technology is and has given our students so much more opportunity.

This module, so far, was a stern affirmation of what our district is already doing and what our CTE director and administration is already asking us to do. Alot of the material here in this module are things we have been implementing over the last few years. It reinforced and encouraged me to keep doing the things we already have in place and to continue refining our practices.

I've always been interested in learning more about offering my students the opportunity to take an IRC. I think these go along way towards the student feeling accomplished and ready to move on in the workforce. I found alot of good information in this unit/module that went towards increasing the knowledge of what certificates were out there.

I agree alot about what is being communicated here about goals, objectives, planning so we can calculate what goals and objectives need to be met along the way. That may be one of the hardest things for some teachers to comprehend for the sake of the student and their learning goals. I think having a good plan in place before the week, month, and/or year starts is a great way to keep and hold teachers accountable for what is being taught on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.

Safety has been something that has always been stressed in my teaching from other teachers and administrators. I really like going through this module and see that there are other methods and deliveries of safety measures out there for specific types of programs.

I really liked viewing the PBIS website. I've never heard of that particular website and I enjoyed looking through it for a few minutes during the course. I have the website bookmarked and plan on returning for a deeper dive into its contents. Thanks for the link!!!

I am really wanting to learn more about advisory councils. There seemed to be a few good references on advisory councils that I am really interested in checking out the links and really seeing where it takes me. I love the idea of mentors and mentees as this was not around when I started teaching 20 years ago.

Just knowing the difference between Professional and Personal social media changes pretty frequently. Not so much change, I guess, but knowing what is appropriate and acceptable to your district or employer. The water can get muddy quick if you are not careful and protect yourself and always think before posting.
