The Ogle Missions & Values has always been a reference point for me in the midst of difficult situations involving teammates & students. Before making a decision on what action to take, I ask myself if it will create a positive outcome that supports our Mission & Values.

I feel this is an important topic to review annually as a refresher & to keep up with new information.

To me, the entire Admissions process is based around our core value of Integrity. Always saying & doing the RIGHT thing, even when it could cost you an enrollment, is paramount in our in our Admissions protocols.

By doing the right thing, we have graduation & placement rates that meet the Ogle standards; which have helped keep Ogle in business for over 40 years.

I believe staying positive yourself & leading by example are 2 of the best ways to create a positive atmosphere. Leaving negativity "at the door" when you enter your workplace, is the best way for me to stay positive & I relay that suggestion to students.

Discussion Comment

The most serious consequences are losing students' trust, which can lead to the loss of reputation and possible legal implications.

Discussion Comment

I believe transparency is one of the key aspects in communicating with students. If you give people the facts, they are able to make the decisions that are best for them. They can move forward, or step back, and decide which direction to take without influence.
