Kristina, How do you handle a student that feels their concern is not addressed or resolved?

Kristina, IS the student loan help center a dial in center for questions?

Stacie, I always refer to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs when dealing with students. You are right their immediate concern is being able to support themselves and their families (1. Food 2. Shelter, etc.) once they understand that they will be able to meet these needs with an education they are committed. Through transparency the student feels confident and not pressured.

Good Afternoon Byron, Unfortunate but true. Many schools have created press releases to spread the good news. I would encourage you to run any media pieces past your compliance team to ensure that they meet the standards.

Hi Sheri, You are correct, but I do want to point out that this applies to faculty and staff as well. For instance, if an instructor tells a student that they are sure that they will graduate and get a job right away-right away could mean tomorrow or two weeks. If the student does not get a job within their definition of "right away" this could be perceived as misrepresentation.

Brandy, It is apparent that your company takes exiting students seriously. If you have an opportunity to review the forum posts there are several "Best Practices" listed. It is so important that each department touch base with the students before they graduate.
Loida, Do these letters contain updates regarding disclosures? Are you responsible for forwarding these letters to students or employees?
Judie, As you have learned from this course an institution must be careful if asked to compare their school to another. If a student is encouraged to go out and research other institutions then they will feel more confident in your institution. A key factor is if the student chooses to shop around and returns to you they are going to be a more solid enrollment who ois likely to complete the program.
Inez, It has to be a good feeling to know that you have a regional who is assisting in this process.
Patricia, Excellent, anyone who has the power to enroll a student should never be involved with the entrance assessment.
