Michelle, Hi, there is so much to learn about the career college sector. These regulations just scratch the surface of what an individual needs to know regarding communication. I encourage you to review your state a accrediting guidelines as well. Cindy Bryant
Michelle, I believe that we can all agree with you that the happier the student the more likely they will refer family and friends. Thus far no one has touched on the effect that having family and friends in school have on a student's motivation. Cindy Bryant

Kendy, A persons right to privacy is protected under federal law. Many People want to exercise that right when they are seeking government aid. Cindy Bryant
Yolanda, Unraveling the mystery of attrition lies with the individual students. Many attrition studies are skewed because a great percentage of students disappear and the issue cited is poor attendance. If there was a way to entice students to complete surveys after they had left the institution we may understand the determining factors better. In doing so the sector could be ready to provide solutions. Cindy Bryant

Hi Lori,

Being in the career college sector for a long time we are very accustom to disclosing information. Do you think that this form will catch on with other public universities? If so, do you think it will prove to be useful or will they tire of the extra effort?

Yolanda, Many schools utilize group meetings to accomplish their Exit Interviews but like you I agree that following up with an individual meeting would be equally effective. Cindy Bryant

Lisa, Hi. Spoken like a true educator. Many times students feel blind-sided when they are placed on probation for attendance. Keeping students abreast of their attendance is a best practice that will help them avoid this issue. Cindy Bryant

Yolanda, Hi. Very important that employees are on board with the organization's mission and values. If this occurs than you should be able to rely on the individual to do the right thing, which includes ethically representing the school. Cindy Bryant
