First time learning the 10-20-30 rule. Great Tip

I really am passionate about teaching but it takes a village. To be well prepared is having funds allocated correctly and fairly so that every instructional staff member has to opportunity to bring their best instructional style forward. 

Try your hardest to accommodate the student without creating too much awareness to the disability in a classroom setting. 

The do's and don'ts to avoid with students with disabilities. 

Having a better understanding of learning disabilities and examples of accommodations. 

I have learned specifics on the many types of disabilities and how accomodations help the student with engaging. 

I learned that students have to identify and show documentation so that we can support their needs. 

The difference between physical and psychological behaviors and how some disabilities are harder to recognize than others.

To incorporate more technology in the classroom. Working on adding more externships and partnerships to provide shadowing opportunities for students as well. 

The difference between IEP's and 504. I mostly implement direct study due to having small class sizes , but I am going to introduce for indirect learning experiences to my lesson plans.
