Preparation for a lesson plan is essential. Taking the time to know your audience and assess their knowledge helps to focus on the content the students need to meet the objectives. Furthermore, when providing the lesson plan compensation for time, dilation helps keep your students on track and helps them have confidence in you as an instructor.

In this lesson, we learned about assessments or evaluations of the student's performance. It was a comprehensive look at how to grade and what variables to consider.

I learned how to troubleshoot when things are not lined up correctly. Make sure to adjust and provide extra materials to the students to ensure they can all complete the course.

I like using PowerPoint, but I seem to be cramming too much information into one presentation. I will need to start mixing it up.

It is crucial to set yourself, your classroom, and planned activities to show the students how to be successful and productive. The students will mimic your behaviors, good or bad. And remember, first impressions are important.

Using technology and trending teaching techniques helps instructors reach students and facilitate high-impact learning. By allowing students to experience the workforce, have hands-on training, and use technology, we enhance the learning experience.

It is the goal of any good instructor to meet the needs of the students. In this learning session, we learned many different techniques to help meet the needs of the students.

Working backward to craft a map for student learning is necessary for us to know where we are going. It's like using Google Maps to navigate across the state. We can't know how to get there if we don't know where we are going. It takes objectives, summative/formative assessments, and lesson plans together to figure out where we are going and if we got there.

It is helpful to know the difference between formative and summative assessments. Formative assessments are used as you are helping to form the students. Summative assessments are used to summarize what they have learned over the class.

Objectives and learning assessments are the keys to integrating progressive learning experiences. The CTE students need progressive guidance and assessment to assess their growing skills and knowledge.
