Intrinsic motivation is stimulation to do something that is internal to person. Extrinsic motivation encourages people to do things they wouldn't normally. Rewards are usually the prize for extrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivators usually bridge the gap for intrinsic motivation

I learned there are certain behaviors that indicate adult students are motivated. I learned adult learners need security and self-perception. I learned they also need some sort of autonomy as well. 

This module helped me understand the official names of different times of assessments. I also learned to compare your lesson plans to how students are performing. This way you can recognize when you need to change how you are teaching certain material.

I learned about Bloom's taxonomy and how it can help classify student learning in the context of educational goals. I learned about different types of knowledge and how they must be incorporated to solve problems. This was very helpful in having the basis for objectives.

I learned to always stay organized, stay updated, and document all lesson plans. This will help to be available to keep your lesson on track and to also be available for evaluators.

In this module, I learned to do a personal assessment of our own strengths and weakness. I learned that this can help tell us which is the best way for instructional delivery. I learned of different ice breakers to know your students. I also learned to be flexible and always have additional material for the class.

In this module, I learned that 80% of students with learning disabilities have issues with reading. I learned the different kinds of learning disabilities. It was very interesting learning about all the different types of disabilities as well. 

In this module, I learned about how to help learners with different deficiencies. Specifically, English language learners. I learned it is best to start with key vocabulary words and use visual and kinesthetic options. It also help give some tips on how to increase student comprehension. This was really helpful.

I learned that with students, it is best to have only 6-8 members for optimal learning. It can serve as peer tutors and resources for the students. I also learned that there should not be a large weight for group assignments. It is best to have no more than 30% of total grade.

With this module, I learned that you can always record your lecture to see where your strengths and weaknesses are. You must also be mindful of your tone and voice when presenting. I also learned to use vivid images with your words and dramatize concepts when delivering a lecture. This allows students to be more engaged in learning.
