It is important to seek support of a mentor, and possibly administrators if needed. Collaborating with other colleagues and industry professionals will help me become a better CTE instructor.

As a CTE educator, it is important for me to be an example (follow the rules) and set boundaries with my students to maintain professionalism. I have a great opportunity to influence, and help my students get started on a career- with great power comes great responsibility.

The course has taught me about the history and importance of CTE. I found the career clusters portion to be the most interesting, allowing students to see how many hands-on career opportunities they have through CTE.
