I believe that it is important to be the type of instructor that any student feels comfortable approaching with any question or issue for help. Even with a Suicide Safety Plan, I still feel inadequate to help students through depression and suicidal thoughts.

Our department has worked with the Jae Foundation, and have put students through their suicide prevention program. It is important to be aware of individuals who are struggling and look out for them.

Working together as a team will help achieve educational goals and success for students.

Colleague respect and understanding of personalities can really help with PLC's.

PLC's are new to me. It seems important to our program. 

I hope that I can work with my students to help them find realistic career goals and expectations. 

You can do very hard and difficult tasks if you are doing them with positive and enjoyable people. Even easy jobs are not satisfying if done with individuals that are not friendly or supportive. 

I hope that I can teach my students to present themselves in a positive light, highlighting their strengths with integrity.
I hope that every student will have done research on the employer's business and have prepared two to three questions during the interview.

Career clusters and letting experts come talk to them about their career path and meaningful experiences/classes for their career. This is something we do for the Ag Seminar class.

It is important to be aware of cultural differences from diverse student backgrounds.
