Assist students to in their journey on financial literacy using their background, experiences and career/life goals.

Working with IT to have permissions to acquire the right software and working with administration to acquire the funds for the needed hardware were challenges that have not been overcome yet.

I plan on using VR for flying drones and possibly the Farm Simulator game to give students structured assignments.

Software and hardware equipment. I am not sure that this is the most important part of my program.

I teach a drones class, so vr could be very valuable to let students learn the controls and gain confidence before flying a real drone.

Online learning may work for some students, but I think that it is important to recognize that there is still a lot of value in in-person learning.

As part of professional development, I think it is important to collaborate with other instructors on how they are using technology for remote learning.

Clear communication is vital. I also find that feedback is almost more important in virtual classes so that students understand and can clearly see the "target".

I think it is important to show the students how much I care about the subject I am teaching remotely, and continuously relate topics to their own interests  (I have surveys to learn about student interests).

Teachers have an amazing role in students' lives to offer support and listen to them. Showing that you care means a lot.
