The idea of giving swag to board members is a great way to include them in the campus community.

There must be someone great at organizational skills to keep everything in order and on track.

I spend a great deal of time reviewing the qualifications and fit of a board member before even contacting them. It is such an important role. It is a difficult decision to make. 

Creating a "job description" for governing boards is ideal. This helps to ensure that they understand their roles and responsibilities.
