I have learned that accommodations in post secondary education are not meant to disrupt or change the course or program objectives due to the students elective career needs. I6 is best to  for the student who may need accommodation to register with the institution's accommodations office to enable support from the instructor.  The instructor can meet with the learner to see what strategies would best suit the student without changing any requirements.

Strategies that could be used is giving the student more time, use of guided notes, and apps for time management, organizing guided notes, etc.

I have learned a lot. I have learned the differences between learning disabilities and Disorders. Some disorders are associated with learning disabilities, but are not learning disabilities.

As an educators we should be observant as to the disabilities and disorders to work with the learner.

Assessments are tools in which a students comprehension can be analyzed in various ways. Whichever, format a teacher choose should be consistent with the content covered and fair to benefit the student and the teacher.

Questions As a Teaching TOOL.

I thoroughly believe that if a topic is of interest that we learn more  in depth about the topic.  As a teacher questions are effective when use correctly to connect with the student and see how they are understanding concepts.  Questions helps us to reason and justify and make content concrete for comprehension, analysing, and applying.

When planning I will plan with strategic questioning in mind going further.

It can be challenging to keep everyone engaged, on task, and practicing safely at the same time. I have had success in making sure I am an active part of the students learning experience by teaching from my feet and not my seat.

I also appreciated the content on making teaching mistakes. In this… >>>

Mistakes are part of being a human. take time to recognize the the mistake, self reflect on how to avoid the mistake and apply what you have learned.

Comment on Marshall Burrell's post:  Identifying the mistakes, self reflecting regularly on how to improve on mistakes, and most of realizing that you are a human and are learning to improve as an instructor.

I learn a lot in this section. It was a very good reminders and tips as to how to prepare a competent syllabus and make it applicable and standout by using a btight color to encourage the students to use them. In psychomotor I learned that  an activity like the airplane not only have the students to create individually, but it also had the student to eventually group and become a team.

I also was remind how to manage late and missed assignments, by creating deadlines and referring to the course calendar to help the students stay current in the… >>>
