Effective lesson plans, quizzes and tests are key to our students learning process and will help them apply these new knowledge skills in their chosen fields. Also following the lecture, Q and A, tests, quiz's and anything else in the classroom will be demonstrated as projects in the lab.

I really like these responses! It brings real-world "Teacher input!" Question, questions and questions... Cannot have too many of those for our students. You need to set a tone of inclusive, open ended questions that illicit answers from all the students, even those shy students!

I like this module because it deals more towards benefits for the students. Of course this is what we do and it is our mission, but I have learned even more techniques to help keep my students on task for objectives and outcomes!

Learned a lot about lesson plans and giving the students more feedback, redirection thru verbal assessments and student response in real time... Rubrics and a well designed assingment certainly help them along with the requirements, and also serves as to keep the student on task to reach the objective.

Open questions is what I use the most. I usually use it in a student group setting, but have used it after I asked a closed question to an individual student, and then the open.

Safety in the labs and shops is not only required prior to my students start any project. It also gives them the discipline needed to prevent injuries / incidents. They will know that any field has safety requirements.

Using the correct rubric can help the student through the expectations and steps needed to meet the competency.

Both lab and classroom for my course are a great combination of learned skills in the classroom, which now can be applied in the lab. I believe that combination completes that connection and the student meets the requirements, gains confidence and also can meet the competency for the particular field / career.

Competency based learning is a so required to ones understanding of competencies and standards that are needed to be met in their future career fields.

This module really helped me in this area of disabilities and how better to communicate and allow that student to succeed in a career.
