I like the idea of sharing my personal narrative with my students will build a connection with my students.

I think the tips for what to do if a person is in crisis is important for all eductors to become familiar. We never know when a crisis might happen and being prepared how to respond is very important. However, knowing when to seek is help if the situation is over our head is most critical.

I learned there are differences in leading and managing. I never considered the difference.

I like the idea that online course instructors copyright their original lessons.

I like the approach of the 4 R's of Andragory for teaching adult learners: Respectful relationships, Responsive facilitation, Reality-based, and Reflection.

I am glad that the online platform for learning is available. I know many students, "adult learners" that were able to complete their degree because of online courses. Online learning is a great option for non-traditional students.

Student retention can be reduced if more institutions invest in initiatives that promote preventive measures.

I think it's important that instructors not limit students' use of technology when it comes to the presentation of project based assignments. In addition, I like and I will use the 3-Legged Stool approach.

As an online instructor it is important to bring students into the assessment process because it enhances student motivation, student interest, and student performance. In addition, when students are involved in the assessment process they have better understanding of what is expected of them in their learning.

Rubrics should be reliable, valid, and fair.
