I will return to, and retake, this ED101 course if and when I have an opportunity to teach didactically in a classroom. I will need to brush up on how to organize a syllabus, construct lesson plans, and introduce myself and create a safe classroom environment. I will want to refamiliarize myself to the methods of content delivery and types of learning. I currently instruct in a lab setting only, so my focus is on clinic protocol, clinical skills assessment, process of care, and documentation. Yes, I found this information useful and I am a clinical instructor. It will also come in handy if I ultimately choose to teach a didactic course.

I like to give my students tips on how to prepare for their learning, whether it is taking a test or performing a clinical competency. I suggest that students study in groups, based on their geographic location (lots of our students commute and carpool). They learn a lot from each other and can share their clinical experiences as well as what they learned from lecture.
