I agree, Teresa. This course certainly helped me have a different perspective on things. I was always under the impression that everything fell on the leader. However, all pieces of the framework are critical in order to see positive results including the leader, follower, and situation.

This course was extremely enlightening. I was glad to learn that the responsibility isn't totally on the leader but that all parts of the framework are critical. For results to occur, all pieces are necessary. I plan to utilize some of the strategies in my current job to promote a more positive environment for not only me as a leader but also my team.

After reading through the leadership styles, I found that I use a more democratic approach. However, during certain situations I can alter into another style to fit the task at hand. I realise that many of my counterparts use other leadership styles and this part of class helps me to see how to better work with them or when the best leadership style is appropriate.
