I learned that improving a course means using feedback and assessment results to make changes, then checking whether those changes helped. Student feedback is valuable, but grades, peer reviews, and my own reflections can help me understand the course more fully.

I’ll apply this by looking for common difficulties, making focused improvements, and reviewing the results. I’ll also let students know how their feedback has shaped those changes, so they can see that their input matters

I learned that assessment should help students improve throughout the course. Clear rubrics, self-assessment, and peer review give students a chance to recognize what they are doing well and make changes before submitting their final work.

In my courses, I’ll use short activities to check understanding and share rubrics before assignments. I’ll also focus my feedback on specific strengths and practical next steps, keeping it supportive and connected to the learning objectives.

I learned that teaching online involves more than sharing materials. Students need clear directions, opportunities to connect with others, and support as they build on what they already know.

In my courses, I’ll make instructions easier to follow, keep the syllabus updated, and introduce activities step by step. I’ll also ask students what is working and what could be improved, so I can make useful changes along the way.

This module helped me understand how important it is to make an online course clear, consistent, and easy to follow. I learned that each module’s content, activities, and assessments should connect to its learning objectives. Having someone else test the course navigation can also help identify things students might find confusing.

I plan to apply this by organizing each week around what students need to learn, review, and complete, along with how their work will be assessed. I’ll also keep instructions clear and use multimedia when it helps explain the topic. My goal is to help students feel more confident… >>>
