THIS EXERCISE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL.I RECEIVED INSIGHT INTO SOME OF THE ISSUES I AM EXPERIENCING NOW.THE SECURITY SUBJECT HAS MADE ME UNDERSTAND WHAT I CAN IMPROVE ON IN THE CLASSROOM.IT MAKES COMPLETE SENSE TO ME.INSECURITY IS LIKE A SNOWBALL DOWN A HILL.THE LONGER IT GOES ON,THE STRONGER IT BECOMES,THE LESS MOTIVATED THE STUDENT BECOMES UNTIL "CRITICAL SHUTDOWN"(WHEN A STUDENT STOPS LISTENING AND TRYING ALL TOGETHER).I WILL DEFINITELY APPLY THE TOOLS I LEARNED TODAY. I also enjoyed this class. I particular getting the proper labeling of intrinisic and extrinsic, never thought of the students in the manner. I am known for getting my students engaged, and love being creative, thinkng outside of the box; however i really did attain an additional understanding on those that do and don't - and the importance of in some cases rewarding more than others. I also said they same thing -this makes sense now.
