Procrastination

It was very interesting to learn that most of the stress we put on ourselves is self-inflicted by procrastination.

We must "Eat a frog for breakfast" :)

That's right! The biggest, ugliest one first!!

I find I procrastinate only when it comes to specific people and what they've asked me to accomplish-for them. How do I get around this one?

It is also hard to watch a team member procrastinate!

I am really bad at procrastinating for what ever reason.  Then i feel stressed and pressured when deadlines have to be met.

Well I have to admit I don't have any issues with procastination but I do notice at work some people can't get assignments done correctly unless they wait intell last minute.

I guess that works best for some co-workers !!

Something I have always used when it comes to putting things off is this: It is ALL (Our whole life) about motivation.  We do what we are motivated to do. Good, bad, win and lose, it can all be traced back to motivation.  From quitting an addiction to earning a PHd, we have to find what motivates people.  I have many times asked people "Is this who you are?" Find what motivates people, guide in a way that connects with them.  Without finding what it really is that motivates you may have a rudder, but with no wind you're tossed by the current.  And when does letting the current decide ever lead to fulfillment?  (Notice I didn't say success, I said fulfillment, because not all of our goals are success driven)

BTW this is my own thought, not derived from Facebook or motivational posters! lol
