Leaders have to be able to delegate tasks and rely on team members who may specialize in an area so that they are able to fulfill their leadership duties. As someone who can be a "control freak" this can be difficult to do at times but it is necessary in order to lead a group as a whole. Also, learning to say "no" to something if a group has other obligations is so important for group members to feel like their leader has the best interest of the group in mind. It also allows the group to complete tasks they have already committed to doing to the best of their ability.
