Students as Customers

Just took this course and I totally recommended to understand the different types of listening skills, types of advising and adult learners.

Great!

great source

Students are very aware off the cost of education.  As an instructor it is my duty to learn about educational needs of students of all generations and adapt for optimal outcomes for my learners.  Excellent module!

I had been putting off taking this class but I really enjoyed it and look forward to using some of the ideas that I learned today!

Great class.

The course was informative. The information provided helped me to realize the difference between adult learners and younger learners.

THIS IS A VERY HELPFUL COURSE TO HELP EDUCATORS IMPLEMENT NEW TECHNOLOGY INTO THEIR CLASSROOM SETTINGS

Yes, Peggy. The implementation of new instructional technology is significantly helping educators in many classrooms (virtual and f2f) to improve the learning experience. Another area where technology is helping instructors is in the assessment of their effectiveness. Emerging technologies monitor instructors' activities, collect data and provide feedback to analyze teachers' different techniques and activities to identify areas of possible improvement.

Feedback to instructors is as important as feedback to students. The feedback for instructors’ performance should be immediate, specific, positive and identify a plan for improvement. Providing this in a timely and concise manner is a primary goal as new monitoring technologies become available within the f2f and online instructional environments.
