Students are very aware off the cost of education.  As an instructor it is my duty to learn about educational needs of students of all generations and adapt for optimal outcomes for my learners.  Excellent module!

I certainly agree that this module has presented me with some clear strategies to implement in my classroom.  I was seeking some solutions to handle disruptive students in the classroom (both positive and negative students) and just practicing ways to address the problem directly and efficiently is an excellent tool

I agree!  I appreciate the classes that help me look at the system of education with a more broad perspective.  I have also found that the quarterly faculty meetings help me to look not only at myself, but how my actions affect the corportation as a whole.

I am very appreciateive for the posts and discussions.  I have had several students that I thought were just not applying themselves in classes-- not completing homework, leaving test questions blank, missing simple true/false questions.  I recognize that reading comprehension and lack of writing skills/confidence plays a huge factor.  I need to evaluate and address barriers from day one-- and try to help students so they can be ultimately sucessful.

Prepartation is very important.  I tend to stick closely with theh course schedule and use a running game plan to keep the class on track.  In a hands on class with many students I find that staying organized and anticipating problems keeps the classs moving.  With regards to questions...there are always questions that I feel I can't fully answer from my own knowlege-- so we look up the information together and I show them how a medical professional uses their resources!

Professionalism is my greatest goal for my students as we embark on the next quarter!  I like the idea of giving a visual reminder of what it means to be professional and to stress it each and every day!

The transition into adult learning is fun but challenging.  I am learning a lot!
