ED105

I was somewhat confused why my administrators signed me up for ED105 since it's content is about online learning.  In my current position there is no facet of online learning, but I can see how other principles of the course apply to what I do.  In addition, I am in school in pursuit of degree completion and I do have a small amount of online communication associated with that course.  By the time I completed ED105 I could see how what I learned would be useful to me personally and hopefully in the future pofessionally.

Hi Diana! Thanks so much for your comments and to your positive approach, particularly about personal and professional growth! Just wnated to mention, ED105 is actually "Instructional Planning for Student Success" and is designed for a broad range of faculty. Was it, per chance, EL105 of which you are referring, "Online Language: Communicating with Students" ?

I think this was a really good course, expecially for new instructors.  I have liked all of your courses.  They are extremely informative.  I like that there are a variety of instructors from so many different areas that share their experiences. Everything we do as an instructor should be student focused and ensure success.  Understanding our student population and their backgrounds certainly plays a huge roll in presentation and potential understanding of information.  I love to use all of the teaching modalities, then you can appeal to the entire class on some level.
