ED 102

This course was helpful for me to really think more about each student individually and not as a group. I know that each student have their own personal issues and sometimes this leads to them not completing the program. Being able to make the information more relevant will allow them to see the benefits of what they are studying and applying their new skills immediately will help them to maintain their focus.

I really enjoyed the course ,it has given me ideas that I will be able to implement in future classes. I know from experience that it is not always easy to keep to a pre-set lesson plan. I like the idea that the lesson plan is not set in stone but rather evolving.Adding notes to the lesson plan and commenting on what was successful and also items that were not so effective, is very helpful when I teach future classes.

The idea that you need to be flexible and adaptable is great advise. When I first started teaching I always tried to stick strictly to the lesson plan but realized that this is almost impossible to do all the time, things happen changes are made all the time, it is best to be flexible and update the lesson plan accordingly. The main objective is that the students obtains as much knowledge and skills as possible , as outlined by the course curriculum.

To think of each student individually when teaching, and reaching them through their different learning styles, will motivate them to work harder and succeed with their courses, as they know the instructor is there for them.

I realy enjoyed this course.I find theses courses very informative, and I implement a lot of what I learn.I love the Idea of being flexiable and adaptable.Knowing as long as the students are learning the knowledge and skills out lined in the curriculum, but at the same time being able to impart ones knowledge and exsperience.
