I agree-I just finished the course and there is a ton of appropriate information here that makes it easier to deal with and understand the adult learner: motivation, where they are coming from, etc. It was refreshing to find out that we must be realistic when working with them, in that they need to be shown WHY the information is important and relevant to what their end learning goal is. Having been (and still am!) an adulct learner, I find it very disturbng to realize I have wasted time on trying to learn/absorb a subject or information that doesn't address whatever I hoped or was led to believe it was useful for. Good course, overall.
