I learned that the same message can feel different depending on how I send it. A call feels personal, an email can be read again later, and a text is quick and easy. Not every student likes the same method, so I want to use the one that works best for them.
I plan to ask students early how they like to be contacted. After a call, I'll send a short email with next steps so nothing gets missed.
