This module helped me understand that delivering a quality online course involves more than uploading materials. It requires clear learning objectives, well-organized and accessible content, meaningful interaction, and assessments that support student learning. I also learned how the main components of a Course Management System—such as content modules, discussion forums, assignments, quizzes, and gradebooks—help organize the course and monitor students’ progress.
As an online instructor, my role is to guide learning, facilitate participation, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving the course objectives. I intend to apply what I have learned by organizing my courses into clear modules, using varied resources and practical activities, and encouraging peer collaboration. I will also use discussion forums and regular progress checks to identify difficulties early and provide appropriate support.
