I learned that a well-designed online course needs a clear and consistent structure, supported by a sample syllabus, guiding questions, and effective assessments such as quizzes, exams, and model answers. I also learned that questions can help students stay focused and complete assignments more successfully by encouraging deeper thinking and clearer direction. I intend to apply these ideas by organizing my course materials in a predictable format, using a strong syllabus as a guide, and designing assessments that give students timely feedback and help them understand what is expected of them.
