I intend to listen to my peers and helpees fully through before I offer any guidance or help. It is important to fully listen to your peers to understand completely of what they are telling or asking.
I intend to apply it by listening, and interacting more with my peers.
Listening is a skill that many do not understand and we are seeing it less and less to the point it is becoming a skill and not a habit.

I love the 3 Stage Model of Helping:
1. Exploration 2. Insight and 3. Action.

Our initial goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of our helpees stories while simultaneously building rapport and trust. We cannot rush the process or through the steps. We must spend sufficient time in each step.
