School Safety Enhancements Act
Being that I worked in the higher education field for so many years specifically online, I could not remember hearing about the School Safety Enhancements Act, I am guessing it did not apply at the time. Once the school became affiliated with a traditional brick and mortar, we started getting notifications of different emergency activities happening. I would get notifications sometimes early in the morning. Which I thought was very informative to let not only the students know, but anyone associated with the college know also. I am glad that have things such as this in place to help, its indeed a start to assist in a moment's notice.
