I have learned that both synchronous and asynchronous learning have their place in a virtual learning environment. The choice between the two depends on various factors, including the nature of the course, the preferences of the students, and the available resources.

Technology tools play a crucial role in enhancing teaching and organizing a virtual learning environment. By leveraging these tools effectively, educators can create engaging learning experiences and improve student outcomes in online education.

Connect with students daily, ensure they are on track, connect with them if they are falling behind sooner rather than later

Discussion boards and video clips keep students engaged and ready to learn

We have the ability to connect with students on a personal level even behind the screen.

Students each learn differently and teachers have and need the tools to adapt to each student

Students can feel confident that instructors are available to guide them through the lessons.

E-Learning has many obstacles such as technical issues, student involvement, student procrastination and effective communication from me as their instructor to all students and organized and scheduled accountability of the students involvement and demonstrating the retention learned and practiced.

As an instructor it's my responsibility to effectively manage the online learning environment, teach and assist with technical navigation all the way to the course/lessons.

Like all things, we may experiences some challenges. Just because the course is partially online, doesn't mean we wont experience some of the challenges through online learning as well.
