A website with a library of knowledge to help any cook or chef to better themselves.

This module was effective in teaching how a positive atmosphere is the best way to get students to absorb information like a sponge. There is no room for negativity in a classroom setting.  It can really deflate any progress and the program can get a bad reputation for it as well.

The emphasis on differentiated instruction was a key point that I will take to my next group of students.  It will definitely help to curb the slump that can occur during the middle part of the semister.

creating enthusiasm is contagious, its a skill I wish to perfect.  When a group is excited about a topic, the class usually drives itself.

I know that the quicker I achieve a connection with my students, the better they will attend and learn in my classroom.

I like to engage my students in different ways to spark their intrest in a particular subject.  It also keeps it interesting for me as well.

I prefer to teach adult learners for they understand what it takes to put the time into learning something new.  I always strive to memorize all my students names within the first week of class. i find it show them that I respect them enough to get it right.

Being able to bring real life situations into the classroom will spark attention to the subject and make retention so much easier for me and my students.

I have always understood that its important to understand the background and education levels of the students in my class.  A setting is not a one size fits all situation.  I know from experience myself that being understood by me teacher brings a certain level of confidence and eagerness to learn and absorb the information taught in class.

El entusiasmo y la motivación del instructor actúa como un modelo a seguir por el estudiante, no puedo convencer a mis estudiantes que el aprendizaje es interesante , entretenido y agradable si yo como instructor estoy desmotivado y aburrido de mi praxis docente. Siempre he creído que el fin más importante de nuestras clases es promover y garantizar el aprendizaje, pero si insistimos en concentrarnos en los resultados entonces olvido el proceso de aprender que es realmente lo importante.
