One a the things I have learned is that online learning  must have a clear and well-organized format. I have seen by myself how poorly structured online courses lose my attention completely, and the same is true for our students. The key is organization and clarity, without shortcuts.

When using a blended method, it is important to maintain a balance between asynchronous and synchronous discussions because learning needs vary from student to student.

I learned that multisensory experiences increase retention and learning levels in students.

It is important for the facilitator to learn how to manage the e-learning environment, handle student behavior, understand and apply the policies of the institution for which he or she works, and persuade those students who are tempted to drop out of their courses. 

Fostering participation in asynchronous and synchronous discussions in the virtual or traditional classroom is key to the success of the session, taking into account all the elements that these involve. 

It is very important to learn how to project the teacher's presence in front of their students, in a way that projects authority oriented towards respect, not intimidation, good presence, and good relationships with each student.

When teaching adults, it is important to bear in mind that they may not be as a comfortable using online learning platforms. As a facilitator of adult education, I must take this into account and help students feel comfortable with new ways of learning and studying.
