Communicating without non-verbal behavior.

It is hard to teach on line without connecting face to face with the students. I have found that I must communicate very clearly and my communication skills have really improved over time because sometimes what I think I am saying to the student may not be what they are understanding. Good Luck!

I just completed the course on learning styles which I think will be helpful to my teaching as I am always aware that students all learn differently and I know that I have to be able to teach to meet these different styles so I can hold the attention of the students. Some helpful ideas in this course.

Successful Motivation

Teachers who can successfully motivate their students are the best teachers ever and should continue the good work they do! We need to have more of them because they give the students the boost they need to suceed in life!

self esteem

Having postive self esteem is very important when students are working to succeed. I think we need to work on building positive self esteem in children when they are younger and continue to work on it through middle school and high school to ensure that when they are in college they are strong and independent with solid self esteem.
