Preparation is always key in instructional techniques. One must always select the most appropriate method to deliver the instructional materials to a class. If one method doesn't work well, the instructor must feel free to change the methodology and techniques. 

Instructor should always practise the demonstration first to make sure the procedures are streemline and clear. 

The instructor should always arrive well before the class time. He/ she should also greet the students as they arrive. This will give instructor the first encounter with them and also form an opinion of what to expect. Introducing one's self to the class is essential for the students to know you and be confident that you are an appropriate instructor. Of course students introduction is both important to the instructor and the class. 

There should be  a thorough discussion of the course and what it entails. The instructor should be prepared to answer any questions from the students.

The preparation for class began long before, perhaps months. This may also keep being adjusted as new and relevant information come to light. The instructor needs to be prepared for the class at all times. Sometimes the instructor may have to change the instructional method to adapt to a particular student way of comprehension, but at the same time not loosing focus on how to acheive the stated objectives. 

Instructor should have command of the subject matter and be able to draw references and give examples. One of the biggest responsibility of the instructor is make sure that the students… >>>

Instructor must always be professional and refrain from falling into the trap of students favouritism. Always seek to expand and keep abreast of the latest development in your area of expertise.  

The instructor's role is very wide. They have to be a model that the students can emulate. They have to be a manager and a motivator to the students. Having technical, professional and personal competencies are probably the most basic qualifications. Seeking to improve one's competences should be the hallmark of all instructures.  

The instructor must always improve and be abreast of the latest developments in the area. Must be a motivator and an example to the students.

The instructor should be very knowledgeable in the subject area and be an example to his/ her students. He must always strive for improvement so the students will get the most up-to-date information at all times
