Activity

There are many tools an instructor can use. Using a variety of tools can enhahnce the affective learninig outcome for students.

The thing I got from this is, as an instructor, I need to be more open, flexible, and ready for active learning. My feedback needs to be more thorough.

Not having adequete WIFI, or tech issues can disrupt the learning process for the cohort. It is frusterating, when issues that are out of our control happen, but it is important for us as instructors to be vigelent and keep an eye on the things we can control and fix, (i.e., camera working, mic working, videos loaded and ready to play for the students. )

Making sure I am asking different questioning approaches for students to engage in participation.  Open ended questions are always a bonus as well.

Understanding that students learn in different ways, and provding different methods to teach the content. Also, asking the cohort to get an idea of which method works best, to see what the main focus will be.

The transition from F2F to online takes a lot of thought and time put in. Making use of email broadcasting to reinforce concepts or clear up misunderstandings is also important.

As a facilitator, there are many important tasks. Communication, fostering a learner-centered environment, structuring problem-based learning, and providing meaningful, informative feedback are all essential.

Being consistent and in constant communication with which ever method you chose. Both serve an important and valuable purpose.

I see there are many tools to use, but it's also good to use my own style, with good facilitation

There will have to be a variety of ways in which I evaluate the studnets. I like the idea of having a peer review my course.
