Staying compliant with social media such as FaceBook & Twitter is important as it reflects how your school functions.

What I have learned in this module is that we can never guarantee placement & employment at our school. What we can do is show them the resources we have that they can use for employment.

Having a clear understanding of your enrollment agreement is vital to the admissions role. Being transparent with the prospective is important to enrolling desired students.

One of the most important things I gathered was to be familiar with the transferability of the credits/hours policy we have in our school. Sometimes there is a minimum or maximum number of hours we can transfer in. It is best to stay familiar with your school catalog and ask your Director if you have any questions.

I have learned that it is important to know every program our school has to offer & constantly check your school's catalog if you have any questions. Also it is beneficial to sit in a class to grasp a better understanding of what your school has to offer so you can better relay it to the prospect.

I have learned that having a checklist is a vital part of the Admissions process. Having a checklist not only keeps you organized but minimizes mistakes and ensures that all documentation needed is there. Also knowing what to do with a student file after it is complete is important to ensure safe record-keeping and is vital as it is regulated by the FCIE.

I am the Admissions Leader at my school and so far the module has been very informative. I have learned to keep a resource notebook where I will have the terms/definitions printed and placed in the notebook for record keeping. I will also keep a copy of the School's catalog and Marketing plans in there as well.  I have also learned the importance and definitions of key terms that are used commonly within our School.
