I learned that understanding the students will benefit both the student and myself. I can help them and guide them. They will feel comfortable enough tp communicate with me.

Learned a lot from this. Best student retention merthod is to constantly engaginf with the students to get to know them and keep them motivated. Being motivated keeps them focused in class and will have a better outcome at the end of school. 

I learned that even though there will be students who challenge the system, there are ways to get them back and eager to learn. 

One way to keep the students engaged is to have open discussions related to the topic being taught. 

To project your presence in an online environment, you can add clips/animations to engage your students and capture their undivided attention. 

I learned that the instructor has to have full understanding of the online world in order to communicate and teach the necessary information.
