What I have learned is that language matters even when it is use toward or by the justice involved person and or those that support them. It's important to educate those that may use language that change the outcome of there discussion with hurt emotions and triggers. The way that I plan to use this lesson is to continue to recognize, interrupt and hopefully repair the damage with understanding when people speak in an un-polite way .
