I also agree that angry students can be both male and female. i tesyimate that i have had an almost even amount of each. i feel it is important to treat angry students with respect while showing that you are trying to understand the issue. i have found thatseeking to understand the issue will go a long way towards helping the student understand your desire to help and can diffuse a bad situation. 

what are some good classroom excercises yo help show students the relevance of nonverbal comunnication?

I feel instructors need to look at the reasons for why a students behavior may be negative. There are usually outside factors, home life etc that are causing the student to act this way. By getting to the root of the problem the instructor not only shows the student that you care, but it will give you knowledge that you can use to help the student with their learning.
