Admissions training must be completed by anyone in admissions and be renewed annually. 

It is important to stay on top of the rules and regulations, especially if there are changes made to certain policies. 

It is very important to know what your institution has to offer in order to relay that information correctly to students. Formal marketing plans are not a requirement but they are very beneficial. 

I've learned that all guidelines for admission must be posted in writing on the website and in the paperwork for the student. All paperwork must be accurately filed and sent to the financial aid department so the student and/or parent can have information on grants and loans and what repayment for loans looks like.
