Diversity includes many different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Knowing how to use this information and to better understand students to help create an inclusive environment. 

Following clear steps, identify the problem, assess possible solutions and choosing the best option. 

Breaking a problem down, looking at the information and coming up with different solutions instead of jumping to conclusion. 

Qualities like being analytical, open minded, logical and ask the right questions with active listening make a strong critical thinker. 

Analyzing information to make better decisions, looking past opinions and putting it all together. Helping students with an environment to have them critically think themselves will further their education.

It helps instructors use class time more effectively. Focuses on problem solving, collaboration, and other areas where students may need more help.

Prevention and education help create a safe environment. No one wants to go somewhere they don’t feel safe.

Important to follow proper process, review facts, provide support. 

Reporting and response are very important in helping the school act quickly, support the person affected, and continue to keep the campus safe. 

In this topic I learned that Title IX and VAWA is designed to help protect students and create a safe learning environment while also making sure schools respond appropriately and fairly.
