Have more discussions in class to learn how students are taking in the material and retaining it. 

Instructors do not need to flip the whole class at once can start in stages.

Pre-recorded videos should be no more than 15 minutes to keep the student engaged. 

You should make the pre-recorded video engaging and not to long otherwise students will become uninterested in the material. Instructors should be comfortable with technology to implement this type of teaching strategy. 

Flipping the classroom sounds like a great idea, will teach the students to take on more responsibility for themselves but will take time to get everyone involved use to the technique.
