Remember that students have different learning styles. It will be important to implement teaching to confirm to these styles. 

Introducing yourself and providing your expertise and background allows students to trust and respect your knowledge on the content being taught. It builds trust. 

Syllabus and classroom set the tone and climate for your class. Early planning is supplemental to this in which I plan to implement.

I have learned that professional development is ongoing. I have also learned that mistakes can happen and its beneficial to admit them and move forward. Being a professional represents you and what you are teaching.
