@blake of alll of the attributes that we have learned about I would say forward thinking is among the top for me. I liken strategic thinking to the game of chess. One must learn how each piece functions and and their limitations. Once this is achieved one must try to contemplate what the opposition will do and have several courses of action ready to address each move. One cannot just think of the next move but rather the next series of moves and have the end in site. This ishow I see forward thinking as it relates to strategic thinking.

Technology Across The Gentrations

I have had many generations represented in several of my classes. Some were very hesitant to use information technology while others embrace it. Knowing the make up of generational learners has allowed me to have alternate paths for those learners who just do not thrive when using technology. I allow them to use their own creativity at times to come up with assigned tasks. I would be interested to see any ways this is getting done.

Problem solving among students

One area that I believe that critical thinking is nmost effective in is problem solving. Some students have never been exposed to effective techniques for solving problems so they end up in conflict. A critiacl approach to problem solving can help one to successfully navigate the problem areas in life.

Multiple intelligences applied

As I go forward from this course I will definetly take multiple intelligences into consideration. As a medical lab professional, I see that in some instanced the tech needs the ability to have more than one intelligence. As an instructor, I know that I have to use this knowledge to better teach students as indidviuals.

Thinking Critically

One may imagine that they are a critical thinker and are in error. Thoughts can come from many places and never be diciplined or even analytical. In the systemn that I work in, students are not always critical thinkers. This is indicated because of the decisions that they make. Using critical thought process can increase one's potential for a successful outcome.

Think therefore...

In my role as an Instructor, it is important yto me that my students learn to think critically. In the medical laboratory we are searching for answers to why the body is acting in a certian manner. All of the body systems do not always function as intended. My students have to be very analytical in their approach to their craft. I would like to know how other fields can relate to this lesson. What role do you feel critical thinking plays in the Major that your stiudents are taking?

Educating the educator

I enjoy the content in the Max Knowledge courses. As educators we must always stay fresh so that our presentation does not become stale and useless. Even though some of the content may be review, it is good to refresh ourselves so that we keep the main thing, the main thing. It is my desire that others are getting as much out of this as am I.
