I enjoyed learning more about the company and the history.  Often I know about my school location but this helps me feel like a part of a larger school.

This course on social media and the classroom was a great eye opener. Often, I have wanted to include more of this into the classroom but have not had great development models and tools.  This course helped provide a great framework to learn from.

Personal technology in the classroom has been a difficult one for me to incorporate. In the beginning I was worried that students would surf the web, use Facebook and check email rather than work on courses. However, I found that personal tech devices have allowed students to be more engaged in learning. Thanks! Ward

Reading the differences between Gen X and Gen Y learners plus Veterans really hit home for me. This is especially true as I use the computer to take this course. Distance learning is something that I have adapted to over time but has taken some getting used to on my part. Online education is a clear difference between generational learners. Ward Logan

I must confess that I have practiced lectures before. I have done it to both serve as an education tool for me but also so that I can time the material that I am presenting. This can help out make sure that I am not cramming too much in the last 10 minutes of class!
I really benefited from the suggestion of using the "constant talker" to be the observer. I think that this will be very helpful and have a few I will try tonight. It is hard to provide an environment that encourages success but at the same time keeps the constant talker from dominating the class
