I will sometimes feel that I'm a bit behind in this category, so I took it upon myself to attend some continuing education or basic classes when it comes to skills in computer literacy. It is the way of the world and there's no going back. 

Making sure the students understand that learning is forever. I often us myself as an example and bring up points of my continuing education or if there is something I stumbled across that I didnt' learn before I will announce " I learned something new today" so you put yourself in their shoes. They will see even their role model or teacher is constantly learning. 

I belive it's an important part of the learning process when the students participate. Team building skills will be something they can carry with them throughout life, as long as they are held resposible for doing their part. 

I have found that repetadive but sturctured teaching has worked best for my students. Making sure everyone is on the same page as much as possible before advancing to the next subject. 

Encouragement, teamwork and questions are the best source for advancing students into learning skills that will last.
