Assessments need to be based off of what was taught and be able to assess for the information the instructor is trying to assess. 

Different assessments are important to measure where the students are at with their learning and if changes need to be made. 

The way in which questions are presented can make a big difference to the student's ability to learn and willingness to answer in the future. 

Not everyone has the same learning style and it is important to incorporate all learning styles into teaching. It is important to be aware of my own learning style so I do not rely on that modality simply because it is what I prefer.
