Enhancing students’ retention is simple if you are communicating with the students daily. Leadership plays a key role in employee retention and engagement. Follow up on employee feedback. Establish a culture of inclusion and support it. Provide growth opportunities for employees. Conduct exit interviews in depth.

It is imperative to communicate with the students every day. For example: I have called, emailed, and texted students on numerous times. Advising them to please ensure that you meet participation requirements and submits coursework on time and make sure to follow her schedule closely. 

Holding on to or retaining students through to the end of the course. Contractors receive the retained portion of their earnings once the job is completed and the customer is satisfied.

There are approaches to be effective with active learning. For example, creating a comfortable learning environment is vital and building rapport with the students are necessary. As an instructor, learning the students first name and last names and use them regularly will show an interest in content of learning. Active learning is any learning activity in which the student participates or act together with the learning process, as resisted to passively taking in the information. It is important when given the opportunity to actively engage with the information they are learning, students will perform better. Active learning is commonly considered as a better way of teaching and learning encourages people to understand information within its context. Sometimes memorization is necessary even though its time consuming it is important to engage and motivate the student to prevent boredom. For example, the students may be asked to complete a project and the purpose of this method is that students benefit from learning how to work together instead of on an individual basis. Instructors’ must have a positive attitude because it will effectively help the students in their learning process.
